I eat far too many salads and avoid far too many cookies.
Want to know why?
Because I'm terrified of imperfection.
I fear calories most days and focus too much on flat stomachs.
Isn't that what we do in this world? Question the worth of our bodies when we notice thigh bumps or three new pounds?
Well. I do, anyway.
But today I'm giving myself grace. And choosing to eat that extra cookie.
Because my worth is not in eating clean, flat tummies, or thigh gaps.
My worth is in Jesus.
And so is yours.
So excuse me while I grab a tall glass of milk to go with this bad boy.
