You Don't Have to Be Dying To Live
"I've been clinging to hope. But how do I find and keep that light if I receive a grave diagnosis? I have two small children that I pray I get to see grow up, get married, have children. But what if I can't? How do I keep seeing the purpose and Him shine on these dark days? Because there's a possibility that I won't be making it through and I'm so scared" -Dianna.
Dianna's story, her SoulScript, it's real. It's scary. It's unknown and full of uncertainty.
I truly believe God puts big boulders, mighty mountains, and scary scenes in our lives to call us out. To call us out of the routine. And He dares us to live. Really live. To step out on the grand adventure He calls us to.
So to any of you struggling with fear of the unknown, facing a difficult diagnosis, or anything else that scares your pants off: It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to cry out in fear. But don't fear stepping out. Because if you take the grand adventure of life on this earth, you still get Jesus. And if you step into the realm of the unknown, into heaven, you get even more of Jesus.
Beautiful girl, a better story is being written and a wild adventure is being planned. You don't have to be dying to live. So lace up your boots. Throw on your backpack. And step.
